Conselleria de la Generalitat de Catalunya
El passat dia 28 de novembre els representants d’ArsNostrum Edicions en Senyor Ventura Bajet i la Senyora Esther Garcia-Portugués, autora del llibre Mariano Andreu (1888-1976). Biografia i catàleg raonat (2019), anaren a la Conselleria de Cultura de la Generalitat i foren rebuts per la Consellera Senyora Mariàngels Vilallonga. També assistiren a la visita la Directora Senyora Àngels Torras dels Serveis Territorials a Barcelona del Departament de Cultura i la Directora Senyora Núria Llorach de Culturae. L’acte fou per presentar i obsequiar amb un llibre a la Conselleria i a més, fer un present d’un segon exemplar especialment dedicat i numerat al Molt Honorable President Senyor Quim Torra. Durant la conversa es tractaren diversos temes vinculats a la projecció internacional d’aquest artista poc conegut al nostre país i sobre la necessitat de donar-lo a conèixer a Catalunya a través d’una gran exposició al Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya -MNAC-. Davant la predisposició de col·leccionistes a cedir obra per fer evident la importància de Mariano Andreu, la Consellera es va comprometre a recolzar aquest projecte expositiu davant del Patronat del MNAC del que en forma part i del que es preveu una pròxima reunió. Recentment el departament de Cultura de la Generalitat s’ha adonat de la manca de presència d’aquest artista i ha adquirit el quadre Jeunes filles au balcon (1924) que s’exhibeix en la col·lecció permanent junt a La Comedia (1928) una obra cedida per l’Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.

El pasado día 28 de noviembre los representantes de ArsNostrum Edicions señor Ventura Bajet y señora Esther Garcia-Portugués, autora del libro Mariano Andreu (1888-1976). Biografía y catálogo razonado (2019), fueron a la Conselleria de Cultura de la Generalitat siendo recibidos por la Consellera señora Mariàngels Vilallonga. También asistieron a la visita la Directora señora Àngels Torras dels Serveis Territorials a Barcelona del Departament de Cultura y la Directora señora Núria Llorach de Culturae. En el acto se presentó y obsequió con un libro a la Conselleria y otro ejemplar especialmente dedicado y numerado destinado al Molt Honorable President Senyor Quim Torra. Durante la conversación se trataron diversos temas vinculados a la proyección internacional de este artista, de lo poco conocido que es en nuestro país y sobre la necesidad de darlo a conocer en Cataluña a través de una gran exposición en el Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya -MNAC-. Ante la predisposición de los coleccionistas a ceder obra para hacer evidente la importancia de Mariano Andreu, la Consellera se comprometió a apoyar el proyecto expositivo en la próxima reunión que celebrará el patronato del MNAC. Recientemente el departamento de Cultura de la Generalitat, ante la falta de la presencia de este artista en los fondos del Museo, ha adquirido el cuadro Jeunes filles au balcon (1924) que se exhibe en la colección permanent junto al de La Comedia (1928), una obra que ha cedido el Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.
ArsNostrum Edicions at the Ministry of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya
On November 28, the representatives of ArsNostrum Edicions Mr. Ventura Bajet and Mrs. Senyora Esther Garcia-Portuguese, author of the book Mariano Andreu (1888-1976). Biography and reasoned catalog (2019), went to the Ministry of Culture of the Generalitat being received by the Minister Mariàngels Vilallonga. Recently the Department of Culture of the Generalitat, in the absence of the presence of this artist on the Museum’s funds, has acquired the Jeunes filles au balcon (1924) painting that is exhibited in the permanent collection next to La Comedia (1928), an artwork that has been given by the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.
